"The last dynamite load at an emerald mine removed Francisco Duarte’s eyes. He was always a miner. His dreams of treasures and rewards went to shadow for many years.
Today, 30 years later, Francisco is the blind of Güepsa, a small village in Santander (Colombia). Secretly he has developed a mental map of all the geographic locations around the village where strange lights and "ghosts" have been seen, which testify about buried treasures.
The documentary shows the reality of Francisco and recreates scenarios in which he seeks unsuccessfully to carry out his obsessions. The documentary then becomes an accomplice of the unfulfilled dreams of its character."
